Good morning! Two hour nap later, I am back at it. As predicted, I am adding Raquin back to the paper and may brush up the Maupassant stuff, since I was writing it just to get it done so I could nap. We'll see how I feel about it during the re-read. What's certain is that I won't be 100% happy with the material... but no turning back now! It will be so nice to finally be finished with this course!

Funny how two hours sleep, even though I started out exhausted, has made today manageable. Don't get me wrong - I am crashed so hard - but between missing sunrise, having a Kat-nap (badum chh) and the actual opportunity to relax before worrying about what's coming next, I am doing pretty well. For the first time in weeks, I feel like myself again. I know part of that is the sunshine (and increased paranoia every time I forget to wear a hat - it must be spring!) and the familiar scents of summer are starting to pop up, but there's also a certain de-stressing. The hurryhurryhurry phase is over. As an added bonus, I even wrote a decent paper last night. Short and more on the analytical than research, but the language quality was probably the best its been at all year and I had a lot of really solid points. I shouldn't do too badly on it.

Now, I will turn on some Star Trek and contemplate a bit of tidying up in here. I would also really like a slushie. Summer demands slushies. Perhaps I will go for a walk instead.
