I went and saw Moodyville this evening and you know, I probably said something like this when I was involved in Chimera in the spring, but why in god's name have I not gone to the theatre in so long? I was simply audience tonight and I am utterly, utterly intoxicated once more. The show isn't so much a play as an excuse to showcase lots and lots of traditional Canadian folk music (though they gave us a fun setting and enough background to make the characters real) and good lord they did it well. The first thing I did when I came home was look up some of these titles and I intend to download many more. I knew a handful during the show ("I's the b'y" and "Donkey Riding" in particular) and my father knew a few more, but by and large it was just really, really fun. I like music. I like theatre. It's a good mix.

Oh, yes! I haven't been to a play in ages either, a musical would be lovely just about now. In Delhi the choices are limited, but that's not always a disadvantage, since the National School of Drama is always fantastic, no matter what they're doing.
