akeyoftime: (no romance got goldfish)

If by goldfish, I mean fandom.

My family has gone back to their respective homes, but it was lovely to have them here! It was a great break from the day-to-day grind that is November. Now it's time to get back on track and work like a mad thing!

There's a new spoiler about the Doctor Who fandom which seems to have been confirmed by the BBC (see [livejournal.com profile] doctor_who for more details). I haven't read it yet and I don't plan to, but it's set fandom aflame and I suspect that if I stay in said fandom, I'll probably stumble on it anyway. There's always the off-chance I'll make it through without being spoiled and at any rate, I watched the show aware of most, if not all of the major plot points before we ever got there and certainly enjoyed it anyway, which means I really can't lose, doesn't it?

Today is: Exam prep, class, EPIC DnD fights, autobiography, oh my!

Good luck on avoiding it - it's rather controversial. I'm glad you said you were spoiler-free, so I can be careful what I mention uncut.

I try and stay spoiler-free, but I'm finding it's next to impossible in this fandom. I don't remember it being this bad last time I was so heavily involved in a television fandom, but that was six years and ago and on a mailing list. I'd already pieced together the casting spoiler (Come on, a major spoiler coming through Time and Chips?), so I hit one of the many links and cuts to confirm. Better luck to me next time :P
