Love me!

I love you because you are kind, sweet and I have never once felt intimidated by you. You seem to be a really nice person on the whole and you seem to get a lot of my quirkier ins and outs, or you at least put up with them, which is always really endearing. You math and science related jokes are also incredibly fun.

LOVE ME AND DESPAIR!

I was thinking through this one, because I'm still getting to know you, and a lot of the traits I came up with are very typically 'Gryffindor' traits, especially your enthusiasm. You seem to throw a lot of energy into whatever you are doing (your posts can rarely been qualified as mellow) and I really enjoy that. I love that you're a fangirl with a brain. There are not enough of those out there!

You're warm. How can I *not* love someone who's warm and honest? You write me letters, which are some of my favourite things in the world and there's something very calm about you, so that even if I'm flying off the handle with the stress of everything, I can log on and talk to you and you're as Margaret-ish as ever. I'm sure you have your moments of OMGWTFBBQ too - I've seen them in your journal. I am just sayin' :)

I am a generally stable person. You need very special timing to catch my angst fits. :p

You have a wonderful sense of humour and as with all the gaming group, those little asides when Misha is dragged off/drags someone off are hilarious and so much fun. Your characters also fun to interract with! (Poor Litt will be confused forever, I fear :P) I'm glad you've joined the Sunday group.

We kind of did this in person two weeks ago, didn't we? Here we go again! There are days I do not know what to do with you because you've just beaten me in another verbal sparring match (which are so much fun) or more often, you've twisted my words and I cannot come up with a snappy reply. Oh but good lord they're fun! You've become a very dear friend since we met two and a half years ago and thank you for the many times you've put the snappy words aside and just listened.

We have fun and it works. I would be hard pressed to actually explain why, but you're a pleasure to talk to and go on and on about nothing with. We never really got to know each other in fandom, if I recall correctly, which always startles me a bit now. I'm glad to have you onboard and around :) We can also have a conversation, disagree strongly and then get over it. I love it.

I am very fond of you and it kind of happened very quickly so there's obviously something that we're doing right. I love the honesty you show, not necessariy in your words (though I don't know that I've yet to catch you in a lie), but it is in your tone - there's nothing false about the way you present yourself, which I love and respond well to. And your promise me food! I love food a lot. I also think you're an awesome person and I'm really enjoying getting to know you.

Last year was a year of doom for me and everyone coming over for gaming for a few hours on Sunday was one of the very few things that kept me in one piece, so when I found out there was a new person joining the group, a part of me balked, because the gaming group had become almost like a family and what if we didn't get along and oh noes! It was nothing against you personally.

As you may have gathered, I'm very happy to have you here every week and you're now a part of that. You don't always say a lot, but you're a great person and just as excellent company. (I err, don't think I need to re-itterate that I am also highly entertained by your sense of humour.)

You are kind and sweet and generous and I wish you could see it in yourself! Part of our bond of love comes from putting up plays together - theatre is *intense* man and part of it is just a knack for getting along. We have had some excellent times, my friend. I love you for your unconditional support and when needed, the kick in the head. Those are sometimes necessary too.

Last one before I retire for the night! You've been a good friend over the last two and a half years and a real brick this year in particular. You are often a calm and reasonable voice when I am flying around this way and that, tangled up in my emotionals, presenting me with viewpoints I had often not even considered. I also really enjoy bouncing ideas off of you because that tends to get really fun and you so know what I mean, because you've expressed the sentiment yourself. And though we've had this part of the discussion before, you honesty and straight-forward attitude = awesome and is so appreciated.

Your spontaneous easy affection is wonderful! It's always really flattering when someone grabs you during on the friending memes and your enthusiasm immediatly popped out at me. It is nice to feel welcomed ^^

Last one! (And a little voice whispers one more person will be inspired to post, just because I've dared declare this the last.) You are awesome because in the two and a half years we've known each other you've taken the time to really get to know me and you cared enough to stick around even when things got really wierd. You also smack some sense back into me when I'm being an idiot, especially when I'm being overly-harsh on myself. I can trust you with just about anything because I know you won't judge and that you'll keep it to yourself. I really enjoy and value our quiet chats over tea.

No dear, I already know the truth. I admit that Picard is awesome, but I still like Janeway better. Besides, the whole point here was to write warm and fuzzies about you and using the Picard icon seemed like the natural choice :P
