Until this morning, I'd forgotten just how nerve-wracking the first day at a new school can be. All those jitters are draining! Class is looking like it is going to be really great though, so I'm a happy camper. The course is heavily focused on how to tell an oral story and will be spent doing a lot of exercises to that effect. The class if absolutely full of writers, which shouldn't surprise me since UVic is known for its writing program (right?). Anyway, it looks like my high hopes will not be dissapointed. Hurrah!

LARP continues to be full of awesome. Joyee very much made the session, though Peter and Twyla highlighted the tail end as well. I'm surprised I haven't been obsessing more, but I suppose this week was really more about dealing with angst than creating it. A quirky anomaly that I'm sure will be remedied next week. That was a lot of big words.

Yeah, I was nervous as all hells whenever I started a new class. I'm always worried about the Prof, and weither or not I'm in the right classroom.

UVic's writing program is known to me!

So what exactly happened during the session? How exactly did the GMs deal with the situation? Are you happy with the result?

At some point, I and others would appreciate it if you took a spoon from your Larp and channeled it towards Telantos. You haven't posted in a couple of weeks, and you're the resident 'smart kid'.

Emoooo! Angst!
You're right though... no new angst, only old. Which is very good b/c I think new angst might break our poor little characters.

As much fun as I had with Elli's exit from the game (which, to be fair, was expanding on old angst rather than creating something from scratch), I really have no desire to do it again with Becky. I am much more inclined to molly coddle the poor girl.
