I can let myself get really distracted with fandoms politics and criticism of the show (even if it does sometimes deserve it!), but you know, I think these kids and their family have it absolutely right.

Like I said, I think they're got it just right. They did that for the joy of it and little more.

The book is a fun read! I totally forgot to mention that I love reading strong female characters (I'd be a pathetic Gaiman fangirl if he placed his women more centrally to the story and had them properly talk to each other), but it's looking like you provided anyway! You are for the win!
