I've had a lot of time in the last few days in which I've been too tired to really wrap my head around words on a page, let alone anything academic, so I've been picking away at the Sailor Moon Live Action series on YouTube. It's... special. And utterly addictive. (Usage is excellent, but Makoto is so my favourite.)

Also, the 2008 Sense and Sensibility isn't all bad, even if watching British television is increasingly turning into a distracting game of "Why does he look so familiar? Which character did he play on Doctor Who?" :P In this edition, we have Mark Gatiss (or Professor Lazarus) as the bumbling John Dashwood and David Morrissey as Colonel Brandon, though he's more familiar for other projects he's done with Tennant. Props to Morrissey, though, for playing a totally different character; I'd look at him sometimes and think, no way that's the fellow who played Ripley Holden.

I heart PGSM. And all it's watching for the cheesiness and then suddenly realizing you actually CARE about these characters. :p Hilarious effects, but probably the best pacing out of the three versions. :p

ANd yes, British things are fun for that. :p

I'm falling in love with Mamoru/Usagi ALL OVER AGAIN. I didn't mean to, I swear! They're just so adorable sometimes!

Man, you totally get to caring. I just finished episode 13 (Kunzite's first appearance) and holy hell, why will episode 14 not load, I want to know the cliffhanger resolution RIGHT NOW.

PGSM is so great and so much fun. I think my favourite is actually Minako, which is crazy since she's easily my least favourite in the anime.

You know, I have very little affection for this version of Minako. I'm not fond of this Rei either; there's very little vivacity to either of them and I miss that. It's probably why I'm so fangirling Makoto and Usagi. They're willing to have fun! And by fun, of course, I mean stalking celebrities. (Ami-dear is trying, but is crippled by terrible self-esteem!) To be fair, Minako did kind of let me down. I thought she had full working knowledge of the past (based on her comment about Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon and destiny) and it was a let-down when not only did not remember anything, she was also way off base.

And like I told Margaret, oh my god, I have not shipped Usagi/Mamoru this hard in a really long time. They're so gosh darned cute!

Check video.aol.com

It should be carrying the whole series with the official subtitles! It's hosted from Veoh, so you could get it there too, if you're registered.

It's really, really cheesy, but it kind of works.

Also, I watched the first sixteen on YouTube, but after that it gets harder to find complete and with english subs. (If you're good with Spanish, on the other hand...)
