I am torn between starting the next Codex Alera book (having just finished Cursor's Fury) and the latest Temeraire book. What a fantastic dilemna to have.

Victory of Eagles! I will enjoy Captain's Fury more with the break in between. (That being said, it's hilarious to 'see' everyone go bug eyed when they see Tavi in uniform. I read a few bits here and there to satisfy curiosity - I am almost sorry Tavi can furycraft! - and watching Sir Miles have the same reaction as Fidelias was great!)

I am torn between Alton Brown's Gear for your Kitchen, a guidebook to kitchen weaponry, and The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchet's The Colour of Magic, myself. ^^;

How did you resolve your problem?

Willpower! I knew I'd enjoy Captain's Fury more if I put a break between it and Cursor's Fury, so after reading a few pages in to satisfy my curiosity, I picked up Victory of Eagles and promptly got engrossed.

And you?

Considering the number of times I've done that, you'd think I'd have thought of it for my own dilemma!

Well, to be fair, it is a terrible strain on the eyes to read too books simultaneously.
