You know how there's certain things you just want to do or see at least once in your life? And how most of them are really trivial and silly, but you just want to happen anyway, if only for the bragging rights?

I got one last night. I was sitting on the subway, highlighting in my canadian politics textbook as we were pulling out of the latest station. Cue the conductor, who always announces the next stop, in this instance College, usually just saying the name in a bland voice. Not yesterday.

"It's time for College!"

It was great - it was in this really dead serious tone of voice. Nothing joky about it. The whole car started chuckling at that. He made some exagerated sounds for one other stop only, but it was great. I just sat there and I was so amused that I finally landed one of the trains that has a conductor who does that. Officially, they're not supposed to. It's a bit of shame he didn't do it more - I was on that train for the better part of the east side of the North-South line - but it was still awesome.

Something to tick off on my list of things to do, anyway.

I love Kung Fu. It's so much fun. Sifu asked me to lead warm-up today, and I kind of freaked out, insisting I couldn't do it, but I can't stand being put on the spot. I'll know next time that it might happen: this week I froze up and pretty much forgot everything past neck rolls, which is the very first step. But that wasn't a big deal - Sifu is one of those really good teachers that just deals with it. He knows I'm still sick, and while markedly better since september (running! yay!)... I'll stop here. :P

In the meantime, I need to decide if I can safely bring Andrew's staff on the subway tommorow - actually, I should ask him about that. Yes. They want it at rehearsal, so it will be there for rehearsal. I think my drama prof has exagerated ideas of my skills with it, but the idea really is that I know how to move with it without tripping over it and looking silly, and I have access to a great teaching network: one of that group lives with me.

Rehearsal was great yesterday. You all know the subway story as I heading down to roleplay, but rehearsal itself was good. We got a lot of blocking done, and assigned some new roles as well. Colin's (not the redhead) corrupted me though. It's not cool. And of course, he'd just be amused as hell if I told him that. Oh well. Between Rosa, Misaki, Sam, Colin and school, I've learned a lot of new things this year. Yes...

What else to write about? I feel like right now. Ooo! Awesome Trigun AMV is playing in my ears. It's called "Eden". So amazing. It looks at the relationship between Vash and Knives, and is, quite plainly, amazing.

I'm getting lame here, but it's my LJ, so it's my right! Ha! Take that!

Got Moden kicked out the party last night. By that, I mean my role play character Moden is no longer in the game. I can't play Misha's and Mitchell's, and it's a million times easier to leave Mitchell's, so I did. It helped matters that her limit broke (Think of it as the last straw on the camel's back type thing, except it involves a nasty curse. All Solar Exalted (this includes) Moden suffer from it. They have a trigger and it builds up until they break and take on some sort of really unfortunate personality twists for the next few days. In Moden's case, she goes from rude to cruel.)

Now that I've subjected all of you to a long speech about Exalted which I doubt many/any of you really wanted to know about, I need finish chapter 13. Because I'm falling behind on my homework goals for the day, and that's bad. I don't have time for that anymore. :P
