Pratte prattle
May. 18th, 2004 04:22 pmI am returned to the world of LJ!
Yuki and Suguru are still MIA, my plotline is going to get bumpy if I don't fix that, but I don't have time for it until tommorow :( Crap. I hadn't realized I wuldn't be online at all yesterday - though I really should have. I went out and spent the day - and the better part of the evening - with Michael. That was fun :) We went to this really nea tea house (and discovered that with jasmine, I actually like Earl Grey tea - Picard would be proud). Sadly, his mother also agrees Picard is better than Janeway. Poor deluded souls.
And Monty, their cat, really is a little demon. But cute.
I also got to visit a new library! Squee! I <3 books and I think I surprised Michael quite a bit when I pulled oh, I think it was eight off the shelf in the span of twenties minutes and took them all out :P I also finally met Sean, after having been reading his book for so long - he's a very amusing guy. I now want to read more of Rosa's book, since I know she's working on it. My fingers itch to beta again!
And then I got to see Michael again today :P Most excellent. We just hung around here and watched a Motown special (SO good) and ate some junk food. I also basted my costume, which is slowly but surely comming along. Once I run the shirt through the machine I think I'll be happier with things :) Sadly, Rosa is not comming to the con anymore :( It's unavoidable, so we'll just have to look forward to another time. (She won't get away from me that easily... *mad cackling*)

I may also not participate in the masq this year - we'd be a group of two. -_- Two thirds of Nittle Grasper at that - not even the full band. I'll probably stay to watch it though. Got to see the Chris and Pris duo perform!
What else to say? I have to babysit chien all day tommorow. He doesn't cope with home alone very well :P That, and he does need to be walked and such. Fancy that.
AN is on FRIDAY, and I will be spending that day, most likely, with Michael, Liz and Vicki, and Chris if we (meaning I, as none of the others know him) can find him. Pawesome. On Saturday Lauren, Misha, Colin and maybe Gigi come up as well, so more fun :P I'm going to have to meet up with Andrew at some point too. Go Glendon cosplayers. Wow I'm lame.
I need to stop babbling now ;) I have to get back to work! Tally forward!
