Soap dearest. Remember the soap.
Feb. 12th, 2005 12:59 pmI put on a load of laundry at about ten this morning, but when I went to go hang it up a little while ago, I saw the cap full of soap I'd forgotten to put in. I had a moment of pure sulky upsetness and then I just stood there and had a good laugh. I hate to think about the wasted water, but the time it will take for all of this to wash and air dry can still easily be swallowed, so amusement it is!
For the record, University is not so much about learning from books and teachers, but to learn how to deal with, and I quote, "unrealistic demands on your time". If you don't believe it for the artsies, look at engineers and you'll see I'm right.
I am very lucky to have Marilyn. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to her and the amusing part, is that I know she'd say the same. Old best friends are worth their weight in gold and then some.
