Pie for breakfast... mmm...

Yesterday's final LARPing session was fantastic. I also proved the theory that, as a girl, all you have to do is cry and you'll win the bonus XP vote. Jeanne and Calista did it before me and I proudly carried on the tradition last night. The short version of what happened is Elli (myself) and Coralie (Calista) became mortal for a few hours. I'm not clear on exactly how this was done, nor is it really important at this point. And then, she watched the last of her hopes die. To explain that sentence would require going into most of her backstory, so I won't unless people ask. Though eventually (and somewhat mysteriously) returned to her vampiric state, the psychological damage was done and Elli went out to meet the sun. The Malkavians had an awful lot of death cries on the network last night.

If I say it was a draining and intense session, I'm still probably not doing it justice. I had so much trouble picking whom to vote for for the XP vote! Such good roleplaying. Garrett actually worrying over Elli (I'm running with what Mike to me, Steve.), Coralie dealing with her own personal demons, Mustafa doing his job and Imre for getting us all into this mess to begin with. I could go on for quite some time about how amazing it was.

Matt has also approved my new character concept and my plan to blue-book her throughout the next nine or so months. I have some serious work to do on getting her started and then much planning. We are going to do a combination of actual blue-booking and roleplaying. Steve has also promised to help me, since I don't know the system so well.

On another, entirely more perky note, there was making of Katie-safe brownies today! Joyee (not Joey, bad me) is awesome <3
