MY LEGS HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. DESTROYED I SAY. (But in the good, I-just-exercised way.)

I still love my Kung Fu class for so many reasons. Sifu did not bring the new sashes this week, so I had to keep on wearing my old green one. So antsy for the new blue sash! Eee! :D Still, I know I've earned it, so that will more than do for now.

Part of the reason I am so destroyed is that Sifu made today a conditioning day. So we did the usual running and sit-ups and push-ups. And then we did chin-ups. And lots and lots and lots and lots of line drills. And then we did this strange little innocuous looking exercise, where you kneel on one leg and get a grip on the floor with your toes of the back leg. The you lift the same knee and bob up and down sixty million times, staying as close the floor as possible without ever touching it. I did ninety of the one hundred and fifty that we were supposed to do on each side before I had to stop. Oh man, when the pain wears off in a few days, I am so doing it again, only with one hundred on each side!

I love this class. It's always such a morale booster.

I think... the key to keeping myself happy while I'm here is to make sure I see my and get quality time (and not just sitting in the caf) with my friends and to take really good care of my body. I will have to work on both! (Especially since doing the former means keeping on top of my school work ;_; Oy hard.)
