Apr. 15th, 2006 01:03 amTonight was ten shades of awesome! A bunch of us went down the rex and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I approve and it was just the kind of thing I needed (short of a good book!) to help lift my spirits. I am tired and silly enough to now try and list all the reasons why it was awesome and legitimize the "ten shades".
* Excellent company (Kevin, Michael, Bryan, Rebecca!)
* Excellent conversation
* Good food
* Good food (Food gets double ratings because I love it a lot)
* Comfortable chairs
* Easy commute
* Relatively cheap
* Fabulous live music
* Random pleasant conversations with strangers
* Silly and companionable trip home (I literally got dropped off at my front door!)
So there you go. Ten shades of awesome.
In other news, Rebecca and I have made a pact to get the usually composed Michael and Bryan to laugh uncontrollably. We will plot and see what we can come up with. There was more theatre talking and planning, which is always fun and I've resolved to begin some quests of my own. I also had three sips of beer, which is the highest concentration of the stuff I've had in my entire life. As far as first impressions go, it wasn't bad, but my allergies to wheat will forever keep me from exploring beer fully. It was also resolved to develop my sense of adventure. I am as of yet unsure how this will be accomplished, as I am very happy in my niches and am reluctant to be drawn out. We will see!
