Class, swimming, Shattered. Today is shaping up to be pretty good.

I hope they haven't closed the (outdoor) pool due to weather. It's wet and drizzly and a little nippy today. This what my Fall will look like, only it will smell different. I love the smell of wet, decomposing leaves on the sidewalk. No, that was not meant to be sarcastic. What can I say?

I can't figure out what Margaret (not yubsie) does for a living. Perhaps she kept getting lots of money from her ex-husbands and being clever, made it last. And when her parents or even a sibling died. I'm creating a character for my Storytelling class. Margaret is 62 and lives in Kensington Market. I wanted her to be sixty three and named Allison, but she's re-written that part of herself. I'm a little hesistant to be trying to create a story around a 62 year old (because really, what do I know about being 62?), but she's the first character I've created (and there were many) that I've felt proud of. So off we go! Margaret, coincidentally, dyes her hair red but claims it's natural. "Redheads don't go grey," she says. No one believes her.

I am burning time until going to class. Perhaps I should go give the dog some attention. It's on my to-do list.
