1) Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)
2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.
For example:
"4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?"
3) After your flist has asked enough questions (I'll go for at least ten, and everyone can ask more than one), round them up and answer them using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.
...only better make it 1 through 12. I could scrape up 15 characters, but I can't remember all their names and some are from a veeeeery long time ago and I would rather not talk about them if I did not have to :P
ps A little bird is telling me that the characters at the top of the list would be recognizable to LARP-goers, while the rest is more familiar to those of you I've rolled dice with. (And this is how we roll)

Date: 2006-11-26 01:52 am (UTC)12) Ember of Star's Flame, Exalted Ghost-Blood, child-assassin
8) Iseulth, DnD Wizard
5) Trian, Exalted Zenith Caste (a visionary)
6) Astil, Exalted Dawn Caste (the fighters)
Iseulth, being the sociable sort, would strike up a conversation upon seeing Ember (who looks like a silkly child) sitting all alone. Naturally suspicious, Ember wouldn't trust her an inch and eventually, Issy says the wrong thing (tm) and arouses Ember's suspicions more fully. Ember pulls an arrow out of her quiver stealithy and tries to force a confession out of Issy. For her part, our talkative little wizard tries to explain herself, but Ember's having none of it.
Trian, sitting nearby, notices the commotion and tries to play peacemaker. Just then, Becky stumbles into Ember accidentally, half-blinded by tears, and the arrowhead embeds itself firmly in Issy's thigh.
From there, all chaos breaks loose. Issy starts casting, while Ember draws daiklave (great sword) and goremaul. Trian flares with a sudden golden light and tries to stop the two from fighting, but succeeds getting smacked with one of Issy's spells and one of Ember's attacks. In pain, Issy and Ember manage to get a few hits off on each other until Astil (hired as a bouncer to earn some much-needed coin) comes in and easily restrains Ember while Trian gets Issy to STOP.
Becky, who was only an accidental catalyst, has taken a hit or two from Ember along the way and is the one to leave in a stretcher because she's lost so much blood healing up the others :P

Date: 2006-11-26 02:04 am (UTC)3) Elli, slighty crazy, very traumatized vampire, eager to please and fit in but a little socially inept because of the trauma, passionate about poetry (Masquerade)
7) Elalor, Exalted - Zenith Caste Solar, extremely jaded and cynical socialite and performer
9) Moden, Exalted - Esclipse Caste Solar, a super slimy, super cowardly ambassador
Ideally, Emerald would throw them ALL of a cliff. She holds civilization in the greatest disdain: they are weak and foolish, those city dwellers! They wouldn't last a day with her tribe! (And to be fair, none of them could have, as mortals, though all have shiny powers now that would give them at least a few days :P)
Moden's sass and general rudeness makes her the first one off the cliff. She is not a pleasant lady and flaunts her civilization-ness and holds nearly everyone else is some kind of disdain, whether she actually feel that way or not.
She'd be disgusted by Elli's general sense of helplessness. Elli generally looked a little lost, whether it was because she didn't have a place or because she was lost in thought. Despite the flashes of her darker, feral vampire nature (which might make Emerald pause, at least the first time it peeked through), she would probably end up thrown over a cliff as well.
And since this is Marry, Shag, and Cliff (and since mariage ain't happening), there is the remote chance that Elalor and Emerald would shag. Though Elalor is unabashedly a properous merchant's child who has gotten used to even more decadent living since then, she holds such disdain for the social workings that I could see a grudging respect and a brief stint in bed.

Date: 2006-11-26 02:14 am (UTC)12) Ember of Star's Flame, Exalted Ghost-Blood (child-assassin who eventually learned a little bit about compassion)
3) Elli, slighty crazy (a good little Malk), very traumatized vampire, eager to please and fit in but a little socially inept because of the trauma, passionate about poetry (Masquerade)
7) Elalor, Exalted - Zenith Caste Solar, extremely jaded and cynical socialite and performer
(You got nearly all the "E" names in one swoop :P)
Elli is the geek and one of those really, painfully awkward geeks at that. She really wants people to like her, but she's a little socially inept and write angsty poetry when she still doesn't fit in. (Which the cheerleader reads aloud and sneers at.)
Elalor is very much the cheerleader. And in university, she'd go on to be a really obnoxious stereotypical sorority sister. Shaaaallow. She'd probably string along the boy Elli likes, just to be awful.
Ember of Star's Flame (yes, that's her full name) is the broody outsider. Being a child-assassin with no particular concept of compassion will do that to you. Let's call her the misunderstood goth that hates everyone in their sheltered little town.
Channon is the jock a little by default and while she might be better suited to the cheerleader role, I think she could have a lot of fun with the sports playing.
The plot looks a little like this: Elli is in wuv, but Elalor (that bitch!) steals her man. Ember takes pity on poor, heartbroken Elli and with a finely honed sense of justice, talks Elli into getting revenge. Things go zany and haywire along the way (as any good movie) and just when things are about to go to hell for our protagonists, Channon the jock believes them and stands behind them. Elalor is forced to move away in disgrace and Elli gets the guy and Ember kind of sort of fits in. Channon continues to be well-loved by the entire student populace. The lesson is that being bitchy and mean is awful: be good to your fellow man and all will end well.

Date: 2006-11-26 04:17 am (UTC)2) Becky, Idealistic vampire (Masquerade)
3) Elli, Malkavian (Masquerade)
7) Elalor, Exalted - Zenith Caste Solar, extremely jaded and cynical socialite and performer
10) Ledaal Adaris, Exlated - Water Aspected DragonBlood, sympathetic to Solars after her brother Exalted as one, often a motherly figure, but slaps Kerrick around a lot too (it's just cause he knows better than to pull those stunts - and she's in love with him)
Becky's first impulse is always, always to grab her book, but if she'd already read it, she might have confided it to someone (Eddie, perhaps) and chosen some kind of knife.
Elli would grab two items if she could - her notebook and a pen. She has enough of a driving need to write, however, that she could just as easily improvise with materials on the island, like charcoal and bark, or stone. She just wouldn't care enough to think on the practical issues.
Elalor... would probably bring something she considered practical, like one of her guns with which to hunt, or a pot to cook the food in.
Adaris being pretty much the only one capable of suriving outside of civilization would bring something that is actually more along the lines of necessary. She'd likely choose her Fire-enchanted hook sword.
If Becky knew that Adaris was bringing her hook sword, she would waffle, want to take her book, but realise it would do more good elsewhere and find something else practical to bring. Realising so many others are being practical, Elalor would drop her pot and grab a musical instrument. Only Elli and Adaris would remain constant no matter what the others were doing.

Date: 2006-11-26 04:30 am (UTC)I was thinking more along the lines of whether people would be jealous of what others brought, not whether they could abuse the survivalist's choice as an excuse to bring something frivolous, but it works.
