I'm not mad at them for not going (actually, a little bit relieved at this stage). They all had perfectly reasonable excuses, like the flu and pre-existing weekend trips and family crises. I know some of the crowd was there to see me just as well as Ephraim, but none of them were left socially stranded by my absence like the others would have been.
