I had class today and it's shaping out to be a good one! "Reading Shakespeare", it's called. The textbook is a good and proper pigeon killer, but *so* prettily bound. I already have a complete works of Shakespeare book though - I bought this one for the essays and introductions. I will be sad to part with it at the end of the year, but I do not need two copies of all his plays.
And Holy. Hell. I'd forgotten how high energy the Glendon-folk are. I was in a frenzy the whole time. I actually asked Carlos to turn it down a notch, which just turned into a discussion about how hurt he was that he didn't know I was in Victoria for so long this summer, which turned into a "And how often did you even say 'Hello' last year?" and I summarily won. Some of the frenetic energy was mine because I was, despite it all, excited to be back, but wow that probably knocked a whole pile of spoon out of my hand.
Who would win if Buddha and Punchy (of Hawaiin Punch fame!) were forced to fight to the death? I sure as hell don't know, but you should go to
whosdaboss and speak your mind. It's cracktastic fun.
Coming soon to this journal: A bunch of neat memes and my personal, exciting, very important (:P) thoughts on David Edding's writing style.
ps I'm really really hungry and still running on adrenaline, yes I am!
pps Holy hell, I never thought I'd actually use the 'hyper' mood icon. Wow.
