I've been sitting here semi-anxiously for the last twenty minutes, waiting for the mail to come. I've been waiting for letters from jezebeau and thecleric007 and figured today was the earliest either would come. I've been joking all week that it's a race to see which coast is faster - East or West - because one was coming from British Columbia, the other, New Brunswick and they were both mailed on the same day.

Then I heard the familiar sound of mail being pushed through the slot and landing awkwardly on the stairs. So who's the winner?

ME, because they're both here!

Squeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: Two envelopes, three letters! yubsie wrote me too and sent it along in the same envelope! *joyfulness*

Letters are not small things! Letters are... I'm not sure how to describe it! But they are fantastic and wonderful and a part of a person that is far away.

Besides that, the enjoyment of the little things in life is something no one can take away. Life is also a lot easier when you've got a lot to smile about.
