I tried to wake up early for work today, which didn't go over so well, but since it's raining pretty thoroughly, it all works out. We'll still be able to load all the multitudes of garbage into the bin, but cutting the grass/plant matter in backyard down to lawn-mower size will have to wait.

This has been the week of construction DOOM. It is my seventh straight day on site. At least my family understands how crippled this leaves me at home - I had a little energy leftover on Monday and Tuesday and I used up the last of that throwing water balloons at my friends (it was so worth it). I worked so hard on friday (caught up in a mindless routine of turn up soil, grab weeds, tug on roots, throw on pile, repeat) that I nearly caused a full-scale pain flare-up when I did stop. NOT SO COOL FIBROMYALGIA. Not so cool.

I failed to blue-book this week. I think this all goes to show that I've got to do it at the beginning of the week, when I'm still obsessed with things. (Monday is inevitably spent daydreaming about Becky.) I will probably miss Afters again this week, maybe even if there is important blue booking to be done. A girl's got to take care of herself! (Gaming will be a strain, but socializing is important too!)

Well, that was anti-climactic.

I completely forgot about my aniversary week. (The last week of May is when the doctors think my stroke occured. It was of the hemorrhagic kind, so it needed the time to bleed out. I had my first seizure the first of June and doctor's visits developed from there.) Appropriate, I suppose, since I'm now past the five year recovery period they gave me, but it still feels odd to have completely and utterly forgotten to dance on Death and Disability's heads. So... Happy (belated) Anniversary to me.

Perhaps the water balloon fight on Wednesday counts as my celebration? I certainly couldn't have done that a few years ago.
