Hi everyone!
Happy New Year's and woot, back to school soon... eck. ;)
Well, I had my holidays in Quebec, got to ski, so that was wonderful, and it was nice to see my grandmother again, though a little sad. She had a stroke this fall, and I think it's really had a big effect on her. She won't admit to it, but there are a lot of little changes, and most of them not so good. I worry, but she is still here with us, right?
In other news, I saw Pris yesterday! I was going for a manga run (mmm... manga) and I called her suggested she come keep me company. She leaves for school again the day after tommorow, so I wanted to do something with her. She lent me some anime (Weiss - which I need to lend to oh, five or six people, not to mention finish myself) and Yami no Matsuei, which I've seen most of, but not the last few episodes. I'm a sad Katie though, because I'm rewatching the series, and it's got an awful rushed feel to it, after reading the manga. The second arc was a little more relaxed, but the first is just gogogogogogogogogogogogo, and poor Maria Wong really is nothing but a doll. In manga, she gets a little more credit. Still, we got Amethyst Remembrance (a song) out of it, so that's not all bad :P
What else... ooo! Gravitation manga! So happy there. And you know what? It makes a frell of a lot more sense than the scanlations. I sit and read it and just "So that's what was going on in that scene!". It's giving me a wonderful of sketch of the characters as they are in the manga, and it's nice to see see secondary characters, like Mrs Shindou and Maiko. Ah! And hapilly, the Shuichi/Yuki scenes that bugged me because they felt like rape are just fine now. In fact, I enjoy them and Yuki is great :P A jerk sometimes, but great. *huggles Shuichi*
Why yes, I am I bit of a fan girl. No making fun.
I'm also very hungry right now, which is annoying, because dinner wasn't all that long ago.
I should get back to my history homework. I need to study for the test... woot. So much for getting ahead over the holidays. :P
