Blue is my new least favourite colour.
Apr. 10th, 2006 05:17 pmSo here's what's going on with me.
Exam two of two is now done. I felt fairly good about both of them and I'm really very pleased about the "studying not an hour before" thing. It was nice to walk in and feel prepared. I totally pwned the theory section of this exam and after all the time Bryan and I spent on it, I'd better have! I will have to expand on these habits next year.
Sadly, with the last exam out of way, I enter the more demoralizing part of the end of term. I should, theoritically, be done. Now, I know, extensions, fibromyalgia, etc and believe me, I'm a sight more positive than I was this time last year, when I was in the same predicament. It's just a bummer to be dealing with straggly loose ends when all other structure has vanished. Perhaps I will impose new structure. I will certainly be needed to come to Glendon... which leads me to my next point.
I turned on my laptop this morning to find the internet wasn't working. Fine. It does that sometimes when I haven't re-booted in a while. Start Menu, Shut Down and veer off into Reset Computer. All routine and normal. Until the Blue Screen of Death and Windows that won't start in any mode (yes, I tried Safe and Last Known Good Configuration). While calling Dell and getting them to send me the stuff so I can reformat (no seriously - they preload everything and you're stuck waiting when things go wrong), it isn't the end of the world, because I'll live without my conversation logs and some lost pictures. I'm really cranky, however, that I've lost schoolwork. I now have to restart the essay that is due tommorow (and it's a hard deadline - he's leaving the city). Thankfully, the Shakespeare stuff is also on the school drive, so I'm covered there. Just ARG. I'm just lucky
cowabungaflip_ will be lending me his computer so that I can pull my all-nighter at home and not on campus. Campus is not condusive to the naps that I know I will need.
Now I go grab some info at the library, go home and eat and get to work! Here we go ^^
