(no subject)

I have been obsessing in one little tight ball of ideas over game ever since Sunday night. I had a bombshell dropped in my and Becky's lap (and I don't mean all the PC deaths) and I've been left going ... bah... wah... no! It is time to take a step back, do what Becky would do and keep Katie out of it. I also wrote a letter to Ariane, which I will put up for general consumption in a few weeks time (I'm sorry, that includes you too, Wren), so that its extremely spoilerish contents will not, well, spoil. In character, the letter is of course destroyed. Breachy breachy!

Spent the full day at work (where I wrote the letter, yes, I was that determined once the idea popped into my head) and then spent a few hours with Steve this evening, when I managed to talk a lot of my stress out. Thank GOD is all I have to say. Between that and my evening with Joyee on Monday, I am full of new gaming idea goodness. I am also left with the urge to write, which is maybe part of the reason Becky wrote that letter today.

Anyway, it's been another cycle of the clock and it's time to get some rest before work. Goodnight.

Ariane needs to get off her butt and write those letters to you and Analee that she promised! Maybe I'll do that this week. :) I'll talk to Joyee and make sure it's okay.

Bah, it's not like you could really write them sooner. You had to get away and safe before you could start sending letters, really.

Poor Anna-lee will never get her letter :(

If Becky actually gets hers (I think we have moved? No one tells me much.), it will be glee for her!

I miss that obsessing-over-games feeling. I haven't had that since... well, when I lived in Toronto.

Is it likely that Becky would be obsessing in the same way that you are? If so, your reactions may be an appropriate way for her to act.

They are entirely appropriate for Becky, though the focus realy should be more heavily on the deaths and her inability to do anything, even though she feels she should have been able to help.

This is an extremely emotional week for Becky, so yes, she'd be in a kind of mental overdrive as well.

You already know the bombshell ;) It was that thing with the Plus. Steve tips his hat to you for that, by the way. He thought it was hilarious.

I was going to post the letter this week, but under filter, to limit the Victoria folk who can see it and avoid spoilery goodnes (badness?).
