Storyteller's picnic was a lot of fun. It turns out the lady who rented her house to my parents their first year out here is a part of the Guild. Amusing small world moment! Prospect Lake is simply gorgeous and swimming in it was divine. I'd forgotten how lovely lakes are. A lot of great stories went around the circle and I'm glad I went. Delicious food too! I do not think I can describe how tempted I was to have Peg drop me off at larp on our way back into Victoria, but remembering how ill I was yesterday, how exhausted I still feel, and how much energy it takes to play Becky, I resisted the temptation and decided to play nice with my body. I am still antsy, but it's a nice break too, in a way. I'll be glad to go back next week, though!
