I called in my mum.

Which is the right decision, but boy is it a bitter pill to swallow. Stupid pride.

I am having a discussion about what to do in case of a zombie attack. It's been this repetitive theme ever since we watched "Shawn of the Dead" at one of Calista's movie nights. And a pretty entertaining one at that.

Farscape season 1 ends on a terrible, terrible cliffhanger. I'm still waiting on season 2 so man, am I antsy to find out what happens.

I actually have a plan of what I will do in case of zombie attacks. Since I live at least an hour away from my family, I'd have to abandon them b/c I know I won't be able to reach them in time.
I'd grab my hubby, pile in his truck, & drive through the riverbed to either the COSTCO or Target nearby. They have loads of food, clothing, bedding, & entertainment until either they overtake us & we die or we get rescued by the military team that has set up a safe point. LOL!
Can you tell I am really prepared?

But neither of those is very defensible and you won't be the only ones with that plan: the zombies would surely be attracted to the masses of people.

oh dear.
*sends feel-good vibes*
give me a call if you need anything, at least until your mum gets here.
as much as that means that it's a bit more serious and i should worry, i'm comforted a little knowing that she will certainly know what to do, and be able to devote you as much love and attention as you need and deserve right now.
but regardless,
im here for you if you need me.

feel better soon!

Mum'll be in in a few hours and Andrew's here in the meantime. Thank you for the offer.

I'm working on it.

*hugs*

Zombies I am not worried about however. I worked on Brendan's instructional video on how to deal with a zombie invasion, so I am well prepared. And I have swords. As the Klingon proverb goes, "A running man can slit a thousand throats."

Hugs are good. Sorry to have missed you last night.

See, so long as they're the slow moving zombies one generally expects, I'm not too worried about them. Sure, still scary and a concern, but I've got a couple good plans for to not get killed by zombies. I'd be much more concerned about the "survivalist" type humans who would take a "Fuck you and we're taking your shit!" approach to anyone not a part of their group.

best of luck with what you are going through.

My current plan on zombie attacks resolved arround getting my Norman gear (sword, axe shield etc) and finding other re-enactors and fight our way to safety.
