"Au fur et à mesure" meeeeans... I never realized how hard it is to define this.
It meeeans... thaaaat... you do something so that it's at the same time as something else. So you could say "au fur et à mesure que tu recois les livres, tu me les enverras". So when you receive one book, you send, when you receive the next book, you send, etc. It's KINDA "en même temps" because you do it more or less at the same time as something else. One thing is ongoing, and then you're to do something else more or less on an ongoing basis paralell-ly :P
