But I'm pretty damn sure "Au fur et au mesure." does not mean the same thing as "En même temps."

It wouldn't be my fault even if you weren't right. I didn't decide on the meaning of the phrase. I'd be a bitch for pointing out you were wrong, but it wouldn't be my fault. :P
