zomgods! Farscape! And Nicole is such a good sport to put up with me running into her room on the commercial breaks to squee!

Mysticism voodoo with actual consequences! It is awesome! Especially if they follow through on their threat to kill Zhaan! If not, they'll have toed the using mystic voodoo line on the wrong side, but in the meantime, woah! I am unsure if it is worth spoiling myself now, or simply waiting until tommorow's episode. And see, they could kill her, because Stark has joined the main cast so if she dies, no problem, there's still a mystic voodoo priest something on board to take care of all that stuff. (I cannot recall if her actress was in the credits - so I'll have to wait and see!)

Everytime I think this show makes a major mistep (like John has a run in with the Ancients, who can transport themselves to Earth but he doesn't ask them how they do it?), I find out that there has been no oversight. Mental blockage wherein he did ask for the win! The only mistake I am currently annoyed at is how conveniently they ignored time and space in the robbing the shadow bank episodes - dude, you've starburst more than once since you ran into those guys way back in early season one. You should not be able to reach them all by standard modes of flight. (Otherwise, it was thematically nice to see everything tied in so nicely.)

Also, someone please smack Aeryn for me? Hard? Zhaan did not decide to sacrice her life so you could go on pushing John away. Well, it's more complex than that, but as a fan, boy am I tired of being jerked around. I'm still thoroughly Aeryn/John, but dammit, this is why I haven't shipped in so long. Up and down and up and down and all around! I'm still hooked though.

And good LORD, how many lives does Scorpius have? He's smart enough to lay out a decoy like he did in this episode, but damn, this is the second or third time he's been left for dead without actually dying.

Aaaaand because I think they're that hilarious, I am recording some bits of dialogue I loved. For reference, this show makes excellent use of puppetry - two of the main cast are in fact puppets, Rigel and Pilot. Anyway.

Zhaan (during a trippy aliens-messing-with-John's-head sequence): I could wear a Freudian slip.

Rigel: I am nobody's puppet!

Ben Browder does crazy so endearingly well, though I wish the writers would get his level of crazy and/or jaded straight. They kind of flash back and forth between the Creighton they want to portray (the hopefull, merciful human) and the slightly-off-the-rails one he probably is. I was also confused as to why he got a sex scene back at "Look at the Princess" with random Sabacian woman - then I looked it up and found out the actress is his wife. There may have been other reasons, but it's just so random, especially in the middle of a John-and-Aeryn-are-having-issues-again plotline. Still, I am quite delighted by the acting skills of the entire cast, including the one-shot and re-occuring characters. It is all well done.

Much as I would love to keep going, I should really go breathe deeply, calm down, eat some supper and then get to Glendon for the concert. But such a delicious plotline and show!
