I've been searching the internet for a copy of PowerPoint that won't cost me an arm and a leg or even a compatible program that does the same thing, but to no avail. Can anyone help?
...meanwhile, somewhere deep in the ether of the web, a name is mentioned. Along with this incantation is the mention of software, and the acquisition thereof. These words have power. Power enough to move the mind and thoughts of the one being called. He has heard this call, and will fulfill his noble duty to provide software where it is needed.
No problem. I do recommend OpenOffice simply because it's free and it's not Microsoft. That being said, if you still want the new Office suite, it's coming down the pipe as we speak, and can very easily make its way to you.
I've been using OpenOffice, actually. I quite like it - it's nice and user friendly and Microsoft compatible. *knocks on wood* It's nice to have a proper word processor again (even if all it's doing it yelling at me because of all of the french words :P)
