I'm not so sure. I felt like Aeryn was slightly reclaimed during the mini-series. Yes, she went into mother-mode, but that's not necessarily anti-feminist in and of itself (and I know you know that, just as I can understand where you're possibly disapointed because she chose that road over all the alternatives). There were still some problems, but they managed to bring back some of her fighting spirit - I was delighted to the tips of my toes to see her firing a gun even after her water broke. That's the Aeryn from the first two seasons. I felt the whole marriage and children was more in line with Aeryn-as-a-person and less Aeryn-as-a-subplot than it had been in the fourth season.
