Having watched Battlestar in the breakneck way I did, I'd forgotten how incrementally the plot tends to move forward. Seven episodes in a day and they all kind of blur together in a tangle of plot and character development.

That being said, I do not even know where to start squeeing about tonight's episode! Here is a bullet-form, but otherwise completely random list! Meatier comments below!

-head!Baltar in Baltar's head.
-The centurions now possess reason. And the raiders - the raiders - won't fight!
-Numbers for all the Cylon gang! Hooray!
-When are they going to unbox Three?
-Bad, bad things are going to continue happening to Boomer. (She's going to come back out from under the radar this season.)
-Dear Final Four, this is a boring plotline. Can we move on yet?
-Cylon meetings! Awesome!
-They kind of made me like Kara/Lee again?
-Lee had a lovely send-off! (But you just know Roslin's got mixed feelings about being there.)
-Good lord, Roslin and Adama throwing truths at each other!
-Hooray for Hot Dog and Racetrack!

I'd heard they were aiming to move back to a goofier Baltar and already, two episodes in, he more closely resembles his season one self than he has in a long time. As one friend put it, goodbye to intellectual Baltar, though I doubt we've seen the last of him. We're just going to see more of conceited, sex-obsessed Baltar for a while.

I think the most interesting thing about the Cylon plot was One, Four, and Five's treatment of the "lesser" Cylons. I kept wanting to yell at the screen - didn't they realise that this dismissive treatment of the Raiders was probably the kind of thing that sparked off the first war with the humans? It's been troubling me since "Downloaded" that the models that are almost identical to humans are the ones with all of the power. There's also got be some sort of significance to model seven - I'd wager that s/he is our final Cylon, somewhere out there in the fleet (likely perfectly aware of his/her own nature, right from the start). Someone had have to leave Adama that note at the end of the mini, after all.

Dee needs a plotline all her own, that has nothing to do with Lee or Kara. Let's bring her back to the levels of awesome she had early on.

I'm also curious to see where Kara's new plotline has her headed. I sincerely hope Karl goes with her! Their friendship makes me so very happy. If it involves Athena and Sam as well (and maybe Sam confiding in Athena...), then so much the better. If that blasted Last Supper picture actually is going anywhere, then it's likely that Sam's headed off with them.

If I was a little bit let down by last week's episode, this one made up for it in spades.

I don't know, don't you think that part of that gift of reason, either as a direct or indirect consequence, will extend to the "lesser" models being able to make those distinctions? If nothing else, the Centurions will figure out sooner or later that the Known Seven have that ability. The show has already played with the Centurions inability to distinguish between models (New Caprica!)

They totally deserved it, but oh, oh, this Cylon-on-Cylon violence thing is just getting started. (Boy, the Sixes are real trouble makers, aren't they?)

So Head!Six is aware that Tory can see her, so she leaves? But why can't she see Head!Gaius? I went back to scene and you're right, it's done so very deliberately and while we haven't often seen her in blue, the dress has had its moments. Do you think all of the Final Four will be able to see her? That could get interesting. (Just *imagine* if Tigh had been able to see her all along!)
