So let me just state that I had an awesome roleplay session today. Rambles behind

Alright. Misha's half of the night ran okay - it was downtime, so not a lot happened. I let Lauren know that I wanted to do a scene with her, but later, when I wasn't so dead tired. -_- (Adrenaline kicked in later, during Mitchell's game. All hell broke loose.) Kremlak and Darkwind went and got themselves into a pile of mischief though, so I took the time to look around the Player's Guide and found some interesting flaws - like one that gives me ties to a Lunar Exalt I was married to in my last incarnation (which, as it turns out, is NOT Iatryxian the Weaver), which throws a pontentially wonderful monkey wrench Trian and Darkwind's way.

Also, there's another flaw where your last personality takes over for a little while - it's MPD, basically. That could be a lot of fun. Most of the flaws and merits I dismissed though - they dealt with appearance and intelligence, and I want Trian to be fairly average, for an Exalt anyway. She's the only one in the party with an appearance lower than three.

We're also going to play a half-breed game, and I so want to play a bitchy demon. Adaris got to do a lot of yelling and stupid violence today, but none of it was spiteful: Moden so has to make a cameo before this game comes to a close, so I can play her just once more :P

Moving right along - Mitchell's game. What was supposed to be a five minute scene took up the entire two hour session. In this one scene several things happened.

1) The manse just got even harder to get into.
2) Adaris, who can jump off a mountain and be just fine, went off a cliff to save a rather stupid acolyte - and the even more stupid Kerick jumped off the cliff to save her. And was very lucky not to die. Though Adaris did punch him in the nose for the stupidity of it all.
3) Adaris had to resort to violence to keep Katari from doing something stupid and it turned into a fight when both women had their swords drawn, even though Adaris wouldn't have done more than bashing damage. Alaric had to step in.
4) Kerick got a haircut while he was unconscious by Adaris' missing fire sword.
5) Kerick nearly died when gushing water rendered him incapacitated and flying into the ocean.
6) While giving him mouth to mouth (that actually was needed), Kerick took the opportunity to stick his toungue into Adaris' mouth. The moment he stood up again (still in his -4 die penalties), he was punched in the face again.
7) Two of the characters actually managed to get inside the manse.

So much fun. And I got six experience points :) The usual four, one for derailing the plot (:P) and another just for doing cool stuff. Which I suppose I really did..

I really need to figure out how to set my keyboard on something other than french-canadian. Not having certain keys is driving me crazy.

In other news, I met Smudge today. Like Calvin, he's a pure-bred border collie that looks like he's a mutt. He's absolutely adorable :) His owner seems to be a pretty cool guy too, a former York student even, studied theater there. I also took the dog for a really long walk the afternoon - totally did me in. Le sigh. AN still seems to be taking it's toll but really, should I have expected any less.

I've been invited to a semi-formal at MacDonald's tommorow by a few people in my roleplay group and their friends at large. These people are so much fun. It's Robert's birthday though, so I suspect I'll find myself at home, even if it's only to be there for the cake (not because I want to eat it - but because it's his birthday and he's my brother).

No one is really online tonight, or no one is talking to me. Tis sad. Maybe I'll write my con report. And watch and Prétear downloads. Slowly. Oh so very slowly. It's going to be weeks at this rate...

:P
