Jun. 4th, 2006 10:00 amWell, that was anti-climactic.
I completely forgot about my aniversary week. (The last week of May is when the doctors think my stroke occured. It was of the hemorrhagic kind, so it needed the time to bleed out. I had my first seizure the first of June and doctor's visits developed from there.) Appropriate, I suppose, since I'm now past the five year recovery period they gave me, but it still feels odd to have completely and utterly forgotten to dance on Death and Disability's heads. So... Happy (belated) Anniversary to me.
Perhaps the water balloon fight on Wednesday counts as my celebration? I certainly couldn't have done that a few years ago.

Re: Take that, stroke! Katie rolls 20s!
Date: 2006-06-06 05:17 pm (UTC)Katie did not roll a twenty, but she rolled pretty darn well, with excellent assists from her friends and family.
Changes nothing. When I see my neurologist in about nine months I'll talk to her about reducing the meds again!
